Profile:

Oswaldo is Norwegian. He was born and grew up in Venezuela. He studied at the University of Stavanger where he received his BSc and MSc in Biochemistry, with a specialization in Organic Synthesis. During his studies, he also worked for the company Evonik in the production of polyphenols.

In September 2018 Oswaldo joined the transMed team as an Early Stage Researcher / PhD student. His role in the team is the synthesis, crystallization, and process development and upscaling of cyclic nucleotide analogues for clinical testing, which he carries out at the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), in Södertälje, Stockholm.
